Pervert rabbi admits kid sex

With other accusers stepping forward, a former yeshiva teacher changed pleas yesterday on the third day of his New Jersey trial and admitted he sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy while working as a camp counselor. Rabbi Yosef Kolko, 36, shifted uncomfortably on the stand in the Toms River courtroom as he pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual assault, attempted aggravated sex assault, sexual assault and child endangerment. The abuse occurred from 2008 to early 2009 and ranged from fondling to oral sex. [End quote from the NY Post].
Hoffman’s comment: this behavior is not an anomaly. Sex with children is permitted in the halacha.

Mr. Hoffman, I'm not sure if you were following the case of 65-year-old Teaneck NJ rabbi Uzi Rivlin. Prosecutors charged Rivlin in 2011 with sexually abusing two 13-year-old Israeli boys, who were staying with him as part of a scholarship program he set up. The rabbi faces charges of aggravated sexual contact, criminal sexual contact and child endangerment.
The trial has been delayed indefinitely after the rabbi suffered a stroke last week, NorthJersey.com reported Monday.

Isn't it odd how these type of cases never get major publicity?

And a beit din headed by Rabbi Gedaliah Dov Schwartz of the CRC and RCA allegedly found the pedophile guilty, but did not report the pedophile to police.

Can you imagine the uproar if there was any other group allegedly involved with witness tampering in a pedophile case involving seven victims pedophilia?
Todays media assumes guilt in many cases, especially sexual assaults. But some never have the media spotlight shined on them.
