"The conflagration at Notre Dame de Paris that badly damaged the ancient cathedral on Monday was possibly divine punishment, an influential Israeli rabbi said on Wednesday April 17, invoking a 13th-century burning of Jewish scriptures.

"...when answering the question 'So it can’t be said that it was punishment?' the rabbi wrote, 'It is possible, after all. The first big Talmud burning was in Paris, there in the plaza of the Notre Dame Cathedral.'

"Aviner said it was a result of the Paris trial, 'In which Jewish sages in France of that generation were forced into confrontation with the Christian sages. The result was the burning of the Talmud. The Talmud books were brought to the Notre Dame square in 20 wagons...and were burned there, meaning, 1,200 Talmud books.'

"French-born Shlomo Aviner, now the rabbi of West Bank settlement Beit El, also said it is a mitzvah - a deed done from religious duty - to set fire to churches in Israel..."

Catholic Church of the Loaves and Fishes burned by Israeli arsonists, June 17, 2015, on the site of where it is believed Jesus fed thousands with five loaves and two fishes.

There are numerous buildings in America that bear the name of Rabbi Moses Maimonides, the “sage” who is revered by liberal and Right wing intelligentsia in the West, notwithstanding the fact that Rabbi Maimonides:

•Declared that Jesus got what He deserved when he was killed.

•Taught that Christian churches should be burned. (Maimonides remains the halachic inspiration for church arson to this day).

•Declared that black people are not human (cf. Maimonides, The Guide of the Perplexed [University of Chicago Press, 1963, with an introduction by Leo Strauss], vol. 2, pp. 618-619). 

The Babylonian Talmud itself is the holiest book of Orthodox Judaism, replete with nullification of God’s Biblical law, admonitions to burn Christian books, and lie, commit evil anonymously, and destroy non-Jews. Furthermore the Babylonian Talmud teaches that Jesus was a sorcerer, His Mother Mary a whore, and that Jesus is now in hell burning forever in hot excrement. 

It is important to note that many noble Judaic people object to the contents of the Talmud and have rejected it. 

Even with regard to the adherents of Talmudic Orthodox Judaism, Jesus commanded us to love our enemies and do good to those who persecute us. Only an opponent of Christ would perpetrate attacks on Judaic people. Telling the truth as Jesus did is sufficient; the rest we leave to to God (Romans 12:19).

Judaic people are  themselves victims of Talmudic dogma. For instance, permission for the molestation of infant Judaic girls under the age of three and Judaic boys under the age of nine is granted in the Talmud. This is not a “canard” or a “trope.” This datum is not "taken out of context." It is a readily verifiable, tragic and unfortunate truth. We wish it were not. Presumably it is still ethical and legal to advance human knowledge and publish demonstrable facts.

The early and medieval Catholic Church did indeed oppose the Talmud, predicated in large part on the testimony of former Judaic Talmud scholars such as the learned Nicholas Donin, who converted to Catholicism and participated in the Paris debate contra the rabbis. 

Centuries later however, during the Renaissance, the hierarchy of the Church of Rome was infiltrated and the popes began to covertly honor and emulate the rabbinic traditions and the doctrine contained in the Kabbalah and Talmud. For example, the finest edition of the Talmud up to that time, the Bomberg edition, was published under papal auspices in Renaissance Venice, 1519-1523. 

These revisionist facts are seldom mentioned in the  media or western academia, the better to keep people ignorant, maintain political correctness and suppress knowledge.

Tridentine Judaism and the New Supreme Court Nominee

When we examine the curriculum vitae of Merrick Garland, Mr. Obama’s nominee to replace the late Justice Antonin Scalia, we find that, as a federal prosecutor, he helped to mastermind the criminal conspiracy that covered up the ultimate perpetrators of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. Until Bill Jasper’s investigative reports for the John Birch Society are gathered into a book, the best volume on that conspiracy is The Oklahoma City Bombing and the Politics of Terror, a work banned by the US government and forced out of print, though copies are still available on the used book market. 

Flanked by President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, Garland told reporters in the Rose Garden, “My grandparents left the Pale of Settlement…in the early 1900’s, fleeing anti-Semitism and hoping to make a better life for their children in America,” 

Mr. Garland was raised in a Talmudic community in Chicago by Judaic parents. His mother, Shirley (Horowitz), worked as director of services at Chicago’s “Council for Jewish Elderly.” His father, Cyril Garland, an advertising executive, is deceased. Garland’s wife, Lynn Rosenman, is Judaic royalty. She is the grand-daughter of the late Russian-American attorney and political king-maker, Samuel I. Rosenman, who served in the White House as Special Counsel to President Franklin D. Roosevelt, after promoting FDR’s early political career in New York. 

Victims of the Hegelian dialectic will lament the loss of their “thesis,” Mr. Scalia, and consider the “antithesis,” Garland, a poor substitute. We doubt that Mr. Scalia would have taken so dim a view of Judge Garland, however.

Justice Scalia was a leader in the movement we call Tridentine Judaism. It is a Hegelian synthesis of some adherents of the Tridentine Latin Mass movement inside the Catholic Church, and adherents of Talmudic Judaism inside the synagogue. In a recent Hoffman Wire we informed readers about this network and Mr. Scalia’s role in promoting Talmudic halacha (law) in the American courts. Our Revisionist History newsletter no. 83 contains an extended study of this ominous phenomenon, accompanied by illustrations of rare documents and photos.

Further evidence of the infernal synthesis has materialized online. In February, two renowned Catholic organizations within the Tridentine movement, the Latin Mass Society of England and Wales and International Una Voce, issued “Position Paper 28” on the Internet, titled: The Good Friday Prayer for the Jews in the Extraordinary Form. It’s online here.

Read the scurrilous section entitled, “The Fathers and the Middle Ages.” It could have been written by an Orthodox rabbi. It goes so far as to allege that the Fathers of the Early Church were somehow in favor of rabbinic Judaism!  

In an effort to ask for an amendment of the document, which libels the saintly Nicholas of Donin, the 13th century Judaic convert to Catholicism who has the distinction of having prosecuted the Talmud at the first trial of the rabbinic book in the history of Christendom, we corresponded with the “Catholic” author of The Good Friday Prayer position paper. He is a tutor at St. Benet’s Hall at Oxford University, yet we might as well have been corresponding with one of Judge Scalia’s beloved Chabad rabbis, so thick was this person’s pilpul. In his e-mail to this writer he favorably compared the Babylonian Talmud to the Summa Theologica of St. Thomas Aquinas.

When we attempted to correct some of the more egregious statements in his position paper, which is being circulated throughout the “traditional” and “conservative” Catholic world, he would not engage with our research and resorted to an appeal to consensus reality, telling us, “The paper relies on the scholarship referred to in the footnotes. This is current and respectable; we don't expect everyone to agree, but we do expect reasonable people to accept that the position the paper takes is itself reasonable.” 

The main corpus of the “scholarship referred to in the footnotes” is based on an absurd apologia for Talmudic Judaism which can be resoundingly refuted if any “traditional Catholics” with the necessary resources were interested in commissioning such a refutation.

Justice Scalia lent his prestige to this type of unnatural union between ghastly rabbinic homonculi and the Catholic Church. It is a movement that is growing by leaps and bounds. But instead of censuring it, Catholics are going after us for “denigrating” the “heroic” Mr. Scalia. 

Does the truth count for anything any more, or have we entered an age of total delusion, even among those who claim to be campaigning for the sacred tradition of the Church?

"Sweet Revenge"

The Babylonian Talmud was burned in France in the thirteenth century by the Roman Catholic authorities after a series of debates between Nicholas Donin, a Judaic convert to Catholicism, and Rabbi Yechiel, the head of the Paris yeshiva (Talmud school), Rabbi Moshe of Coucy, Rabbi Yehuda of Melon and Rabbi Shmuel of Chateu-Thierry.

Donin asserted the following points in the debate:

1. Rabbinic emphasis on the sanctity of their own Oral nullifies the Law of God found in the Bible.

2. The Talmud fosters anti-goy and anti-Christian bigotry.

3. The Talmud blasphemes Jesus Christ.

The rabbis offered the following counter-points:

1. Maintained the need for a book of commentary that would clarify Scripture.

2. Pointed to willful distortion of the Talmud's alleged anti-goy and anti-Christian passages.

3. Asserted that the Jesus mentioned in the Talmud was another Jesus, one who had lived prior to the time of Jesus of Nazareth.

The rabbis lost the debate. Pope Gregory IX approved the order of King St. Louis IX (1214-1270) for the burning of 24 cartloads of Talmud volumes.

Gregory's successor, Pope Innocent IV, continued to approve the practice. He stated to King Louis IX: "The rabbis in their Talmud throw away and despise the Law of Moses and the prophets and follow some tradition of their elders....The regents of Paris read the above-named book of abuse and these which have been examined and condemned by them should, at your order, be burned in the fire wherever they an be found, throughout your kingdom."

On p. 75 of the July 1, 2011 issue of "5Towns Jewish Times," a New York newspaper for Orthodox Judaics, Harav Nosson Dovid Rabinowich revels, as usual, in his religion's penchant for revenge. He gloats as follows:

"However, the Jewish people have their sweet revenge...I was recently delivering shiurim (Talmud lessons) in Basel, Switzerland and was invited to visit a successful yeshiva ketanah and gedolah and thriving Jewish community right over the border, in France, between Mulhouse and Basel. That town is called Saint Louis and its patron is King Louis IX! The beautiful sounds of Gemara (Talmud) reverberate daily throughout this little town. Once again, Hashem has kept His promise: 'He will bring retribution upon his foes!”
