Jews are unlikely to line the streets of the nation’s capital when Pope Francis arrives September 22, just as Yom Kippur begins, but the pontiff’s visit to the United States has nevertheless stirred interest and excitement among many members of the Jewish community. 

Through his official statements and in his personal gestures, Francis has come to be viewed by many in the Jewish community as among the friendliest popes they have ever seen. During the two years of his papacy, Jews have been impressed by, among other things, his strong stance against anti-Semitism, his more flexible approach to some social and political issues on which most Jews take a liberal stand and even by his close Jewish friends.

“If the pope was up for election, it is likely he would get a strong majority of the Jewish vote,” said Adam Gregerman, assistant director of the Jewish-Catholic relations institute at Saint Joseph’s University, in Philadelphia. “He has many fans in the Jewish community because he is perceived as progressive, tolerant and not dogmatic.” 

Stories of the Argentine pope’s warm embrace of the Jewish community resemble at times the miraculous tales related about Jewish rabbis in Hasidic communities. Many recall how Francis, upon hearing that his close friend Rabbi Abraham Skorka from Buenos Aires was visiting Rome during the holiday of Sukkot, invited Skorka to stay at his Vatican residence so that the rabbi would not have to drive. Francis also made sure all his food was kosher. When Skorka stood up to recite the holiday blessings after the meal, the pope stood up, too, and answered, “Amen.”


A more recent story refers to Israeli president Reuven Rivlin’s visit to the Vatican in early September. Rivlin’s bureau chief, Rivka Ravitz, who is Orthodox, felt she could not bow to the pope, as custom requires (because he was wearing his pectoral cross  Ed.). Francis, according to the tale circulating in Orthodox publications, covered his cross with the palm of his hand and bowed to Ravitz. “He gets it in his kishkes,” said Rabbi Noam Marans, director of interreligious and intergroup relations at the American Jewish Committee. “It’s natural for him, it’s part of who he is.” 

American Jews will have only one opportunity to meet with Francis during his visit, at a multi-religious service he will hold at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum in New York on September 25.

“The Holy Father looked for a place where he could meet with leaders of other religions to give a common witness to peace,” said Bishop James Massa, auxiliary bishop at the Diocese of Brooklyn, who organized the event. Massa told the Forward that the event will be in the spirit of the 1986 World Day of Prayer for Peace, organized by Pope John Paul II in Assisi, Italy. “It will take place at the 9/11 Memorial, where religion was invoked to carry out a terrible act of terror and this meeting will counter it with a message of peace,” he said.

Out of consideration for the religious restrictions of some of the participants, including Orthodox Jews (who are dogmatic and intolerant  Ed.), there will not be a communal interreligious prayer. But Francis “will offer a prayer that is inclusive and not specifically Christian,” Massa said. 

Previous popes had held separate meetings with Jewish leaders while visiting the United States, but Francis’s tight schedule and the Jewish holidays made such an event impossible. A meeting, however, could take place in Rome in the near future, a Jewish official involved in ties with the Vatican said.

Ties between the Jewish community and the Vatican have been on a historic upswing since Vatican II, under the leadership of Pope John XXIII, rejected the doctrine of deicide, which held Jews collectively responsible for the death of Jesus Christ. Pope John Paul II, who lived through the Holocaust in Poland, was also viewed as extraordinarily forthcoming toward Jews and Jewish concerns.

Rabbi Alan Iser, an adjunct professor of theology at Saint Joseph’s University and at nearby Villanova University, said Francis’ opposition to anti-Semitism stands on the foundations set by his predecessors. “I don’t think he has broken new ground,” Iser said. “He didn’t add much to the work his predecessors John Paul and Benedict had done.” But many experts and Jewish communal officials believe that Francis, whose papacy began in March 2013, has taken this relationship to a new level. His papacy, they say, is one that combines a strong commitment to eradicating anti-Semitism from the Catholic Church with a unique personal approach and closeness to the Jewish community. 

Francis is the first pope whose original ordination as a priest took place after Nostra Aetate, the seminal policy document that rejected the church’s charge of deicide against the Jews. “He had the chance to implement Nostra Aetate for decades,” Marans said. “It’s a different level of the process, compared to his predecessors.” 

It is not yet clear if Pope Francis will mention the 50th anniversary of the Nostra Aetate during his visit, but just before he arrives in Philadelphia, a symbolic event will take place at Saint Joseph’s University.


The school will unveil a new sculpture, “Synagoga and Ecclesia in Our Time.” The title is a reference to a sculpture that adorned many medieval churches. It depicted the victory of Ecclesia, the church, over Synagoga, a blindfolded woman who, looking down, represented Judaism. [1]

In the new sculpture (above), both women are equal, sitting together and looking at each other’s text. Rabbi Skorka, Francis’s close rabbinic friend, will unveil the statue.

...It is his forceful rejection of anti-Semitism combined with his personal ties to Jews that makes Francis stand out. “He follows the direction set in the Nostra Aetate in words and deeds,” said Rabbi David Sandmel, director of interfaith affairs at the Anti-Defamation League. Sandmel noted that Francis could have an impact on battling anti-Semitism, which is still relatively high in Latin America and among Latinos in the United States. “When there are pictures of the pope and a rabbi embracing, that is going to have an effect,” he said. 

...During his papacy thus far, Francis has...avoided most Middle East-related foreign policy controversies, although some supporters of Israel took issue with his recognition of a Palestinian state and with his prayer stop along the Israeli-built separation barrier during his visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories in May 2014.

“We can choose to have a dialogue of grievance on issues like Pius XII and so on, or we can choose to have a dialogue of working together,” said Rabbi Burton Visotzky, director of the center for interreligious dialogue at the Conservative movement’s Jewish Theological Seminary. “This is a dialogue in which the Catholic Church and the Jewish community can do God’s work together.” 

Visotzky met Pope Francis while teaching at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, in Rome. “I told him, ‘I bring a blessing from the Jews of America,’ and he said, ‘Rabbi, pray for me,” Visotzky recalled. “So we’re all praying for him.”

The Church and the Synagogue
This ancient symbol of the Catholic Church (left) and Pharisaic Judaism (right) is now an embarrassment in the eyes of the pope and his followers. 

[1On medieval cathedrals, statues of the female allegorical figures of Church (Ecclesia) and Synagogue (Synagoga) portray the triumph of Christianity over Pharisaic Judaism. Ecclesia, representing the Catholic Church, is crowned, majestic and victorious. She holds a chalice containing the blood of Jesus and a staff shaped into a Cross. 1. In the Wall Street Journal editorial (see below) by Francis X. Rocca, Rome bureau chief for the Catholic News Service, modern popes are praised for repudiating the apostles, popes and saints of the past who sought to convert Jews and Judaics from Talmudic falsehood to the truth of Jesus Christ. Rocca's definition of a rehabilitated Catholic is someone who cooperates with Judaic self-worship and abandons Christ-rejecting Judaics to their damned condition. Is this not a virulent form of "Jew hate," disguised as reconciliation? Is Pope Francis actually “good for the Jews” -- or a terrible enemy who has abandoned them to eternal perdition?

2. Why did Jesus Christ incarnate on earth if not to convert the Jews and to have his followers convert all people, including the Judaics of the present? How can "Jews" be exempt from the Gospel commission to convert in light of Jesus' words in Matthew 15:24?

3. How is any "convenant" with the God of Israel maintained by adherents of Orthodox Judaism who nullify the Word of God in favor of their Babylonian Talmud, and the pagan, soothsayer traditions from which it is derived?

Who Killed Jesus Christ?

Christ our passover has been sacrificed, alleluia: therefore let us keep festival with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” (I Cor. 5: 7-8).

Modern people think they know the answer to the question, "Who killed Jesus Christ?" They answer as they have been indoctrinated: all of our sins killed Jesus generally, and the Romans in particular were responsible. No other malefactors are specifically cited, except perhaps for a fleeting mention of a generic class of leaders, the “Chief Priests,” and a vague tribe referred to as “the people."

Our sins did indeed contribute to the anguish, torment and death which Jesus suffered, and Pontius Pilate is a stand-in for every weak, compromising Lunchpail Joe and Retirement Harry throughout time who will only try to do the right thing if it doesn't cost them personally. Pilate's wife put a harbinger of spiritual doom in Pilate's ear, but the Jewish mob took the starch out of Pilate's spine when it served up a more immediate threat for him to contemplate: the wrath of Caesar.

Pilate chose the friendship of his boss in Rome over friendship with the King of the Universe. How many times have we made an equally foolish choice -- of expedience over principle? Yes, we are all guilty of the death of Our Lord.

Yet, when the account of the trial, torture and execution of the Son of God is reduced to only a universal poster for human depravity in general, a truth at the heart of this sacred narrative is denied.

At this time of year sincere Christians endeavor to walk again in the footsteps of our Savior as he emerged from his 40 day fast to beg His Father in the Garden at Gethsemane to let the cup of an excruciatingly painful and shameful immolation, pass by.

In endeavoring to penetrate as deeply as we can the mystery of the death of Jesus, it is necessary that all the factors in his murder are considered and encountered. It is a denial of the Cross to slink away from the truth as did all but two of the followers of Jesus on the Day of His Crucifixion.

We cannot content ourselves, out of fear and political correctness, with referring to those who conspired to kill Him, in bland generic terms as "the Chief Priests and the People.”

In the case of Judas, New Age gnostics paint him as a a misunderstood anti-hero who made possible the divine atonement by bringing about the inevitable Sacrifice that opened the gates of heaven. Without Judas, they say, Christ could not have fulfilled His mission. This assertion is presented to Gnostic initiates as a specially insightful esoteric revelation.

But it ignores the plain meaning of Jesus words: "Woe unto the world because of offenses! For it must needs be that offenses come; but woe to that man by whom the offense come! (Matthew 18:7).

Judas was not freed from the consequences of his betrayal by some occult notion of him serving as a righteous instrument of the inevitable. Some sinner was going to offend God and betray His Son. It tuned out that that someone was Judas Iscariot. Woe unto him, and to all who do as he did.

The religion of Judaism, when it became enamored of the oral traditions and superstitions of men, became the idol that blinded the Jewish leadership and then the people, to the fact that their Messiah had arrived and was in their midst. Initially, He had come only for them.

The Pharisees

In the 1965 papal teaching "Nostra Aetate," it was declared, "...the Jewish authorities and those who followed their lead pressed for the death of Christ (John 19:6); still, what happened in His passion cannot be charged against all the Jews, without distinction, then alive, nor against the Jews of today. Although the Church is the new people of God, the Jews should not be presented as rejected or accursed by God, as if this followed from the Holy Scriptures."

True, "it cannot be charged against all Jews." But as for the statement, "His passion cannot be charged against the Jews of today" this is without Biblical or patristic foundation. It is a heretical fabrication.

The Pharisees had the major instigating role in the murder of God's Divine Son. Those who derive their spiritual patrimony from the Pharisees are today known as Orthodox Jews. Because of their belief, and not because of their alleged racial descent, these modern-day Pharisees are indeed guilty of deicide. They would crucify Jesus again, if they could. How do we know this? The most revered of all rabbis in the history of the West is Moses Maimonides. He is admired by liberals and conservatives, the Left and the Right, and most significantly, by the Orthodox wing of Judaism, for whom he is the paradigm of a great sage and legal authority.

Rabbi Moses Maimonides

 In his tract, Avodat Kochavim, Rabbi Maimonides issued a divine mandate to kill the "wicked" Jesus Christ, as well as all Jews who follow Him, and all those who do not follow the Talmud.

Maimonides wrote: "It is a mitzvah (religious duty highly pleasing to God), to destroy Jewish traitors, minim (Christians), and apikorsim, and to cause them to descend to the pit of destruction, since they cause difficulty to the Jews and sway the people away from God, as did Jesus of Nazareth and his students, and Tzadok, Baithos, and their students. May the name of the wicked rot.”

The holy name of Jesus Christ, by which every knee shall bow, is cursed by Judaism’s most esteemed, media-glorified rabbi, who dares to say of Him, "May the name of the wicked rot."

(Maimonides’ allusion to "Tzadok and Baithos”  and to apikorsim, refers to opponents of the Talmudic oral law).

The Talmud

In the Babylonian Talmud (BT) Sanhedrin 43a we read:

"On Passover Eve they hanged Jesus of Nazareth. And the herald went out before him for 40 days and proclaimed, Jesus of Nazareth...practiced sorcery, incited and led Israel astray. Whoever knows of an argument that may be proposed in his favor should come and present that argument on his behalf. But the judges did not find an argument in his favor, so they hanged him on Passover Eve...Did Jesus of Nazareth deserve that a search be made for an argument in his favor? Surely he incited others to idol worship..."

BT Sanhedrin 107b:

Jesus "went and set up a brick to symbolize an idol and bowed down to it...Anyone who sins and also causes the community to sin is not permitted to do repentance. A Sage said: Jesus performed magic and incited the people of Israel and led them astray."

The famous passage from the Gospel of Matthew about the Jews agreeing that Christ's blood would be on them and their children has been used to justify racial hatred for anyone labeled a "Jew." This view is contrary to the New Testament, where race is only a determining issue for the proud rabbinic enemies of Jesus, not for His followers.

The Blood Libel that is not a Libel

The Gospel of Matthew has been indicted as the grounds by which countless "Jews" were murdered in pogroms due to the "Blood Libel" (Judaic persons supposedly falsely accused of torturing and murdering Christian children).  Tremendous advantage has been gained for Zionism and Talmudism by the circulation of tales of bloodthirsty priests and Christian peasants attacking and killing Judaic persons on trumped charges of "ritually" murdering gentile infants and children.

These archetypal tales of blamelessness and victimhood have an endless shelf life and are recycled year after year in spite of the fact that the truth of the ritual murder accusation has been confirmed by no less a figure than Ariel Toaff, the son of the Chief Rabbi of Rome. Toaff is Professor of Medieval History at Bar-Ilan University, outside Tel Aviv. He revealed the reality of Judaic ritual murder of Christians in his formidably researched masterwork, Pasque di Sangue ("Blood Passover”). He gives strong evidence that in some cases Ashkenazi "Jews" were indeed guilty of the ritual murder of Christian children in Europe.

If his book had remained in print for more than a few days it might have completely overtuned one of the pillars of Zionist agit-prop. In the ensuing hysteria however, Pasque di Sangue was almost completely suppressed after the author recanted under immense pressure and threats of imprisonment and bodily harm.

It makes for sobering Good Friday reading.

Concerning who killed Jesus Christ, the Apostle Paul declared:

"For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost." (I Thessalonians 2: 14-16).

Paul's statement is unambiguous. It is not open to interpretation. It destroys the whole basis of the current, play-it-safe party line of Church and State.

For most of its existence the Church proclaimed that beyond the evil that our own individual sins had wrought, and that of the Roman empire and its soldiers and procurators, it was the Jewish leaders and their followers who were responsible for the death of the Son of God. "Deicide" it was termed in my youth, in the years before Auschwitz became a synonym for cosmic suffering that surpassed Calvary.

In the pre-Vatican II prayer book or “missal” for the Latin Tridentine Mass it is stated, “Christ offered himself in complete holocaust on the Cross” (-St. Joseph Daily Missal [New York, 1950] p. 350).
Few in the 21st century dare to refer to Jesus Christ's immolation as a “holocaust.” In our time the word “holocaust” is solely reserved for what is said to be the suffering of the Judaic people during World War II. Jesus Christ’s sufferings on Calvary have been derogated to a distant second that no longer merits the adjective “holocaust."

Now, "post-Holocaust,” that is to say, post-Auschwitz, we are made to believe that God is not in heaven, he is on earth, in the person of the Jewish people themselves. The Cross has been replaced by the alleged homicidal gas chambers. The "wrath come upon them to the uttermost," has come upon us, as we cooperate in the imposture.

Who killed Christ? He was killed at Golgotha at the behest of the majority of the Jews of Palestine. The heirs of those killers are among us today in the ranks of Orthodox Judaism.

"Hate Group Watchdog" Attacks Catholic Church

"A Badge of Honor"

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has labeled a Catholic organization a "hate group" because the Catholics hosted "speakers who have given lectures on Jewish and Masonic plots for world domination" or who have "members who share that view."

This is thought-policing, and it is intended to intimidate freedom of thought and scholarly inquiry, and harm the fund-raising and community ties of Mount St. Michael Catholic Church, in Spokane, Washington, which operates a school and whose nationally famous "Singing Nuns" host concerts throughout the region.

Journalist Jim Camden's report is more balanced that what has been previously published by Spokane's Spokesman-Review newspaper when it employed, for several years, the biased thought cop Bill Morlin, who showed his true colors when he went directly to work for the Southern Poverty Law Center.

This "Center" has not had a negative word to say about the presence in north Idaho of the Chabad Lubavitch hate group, whose founder, Rabbi Shneur Zalman, taught that all gentiles are "supernal trash.” 

The Lubavitchers harbor racist hatred for the Palestinians and advocate their murder and dispossession, yet they come and go on summer "mission" trips in the Idaho panhandle, hailed by the media and shielded from exposure by a curtain of silence from the supposed “hate watchdogs” of the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The Spokesman-Review article, excerpted below, is balanced by the refreshingly contrasting views of a law professor:

 "Carol Swain, a professor of law and political science at Vanderbilt University and critic of the Southern Poverty Law Center, said Mount St. Michael appears to be tarred by a liberal organization for holding conservative religious beliefs…

"She contends the law center is so narrow-minded that it is a hate group. “I’ve never heard of anyone getting off their list,” Swain said. She thinks a conservative group should take being listed by the law center as “a badge of honor.” (End quote)

As long as the SPLC persist in their nonsensical stigmatization of harmless Catholics — and other dissidents and independent thinkers — their credibility and that of their well-funded, multi-million dollar 'poverty palace,' will continue to erode.

What do the Aryan Nations, the Ku Klux Klan and the home of Spokane’s Singing Nuns have in common? They’re all on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s map of “hate groups” in the Northwest.

Mount St. Michael, home to a Latin Rite or Tridentine Catholic church, school and convent north of Spokane, has been listed since 2006 by the law center as a radical traditional Catholic group and accused of anti-Semitic activities.

Last week, the law center released the annual update of its “hate map” of groups around the country, which includes an interactive, easy-to-use online graphic. Mount St. Michael is one of 16 organizations mapped for Washington, sharing the state listing with a potpourri of neo-Nazi, Klan, Christian Identity, black separatist, white nationalist and racist skinhead groups.

...The Rev. Casimir Puskorius, pastor of Mount St. Michael, calls the listing “very unfair” and contends it’s a result of a liberal organization taking issue with the teachings of a conservative Christian group. “We considered suing them, some years ago, but they have more resources than us,” Puskorius said.

...Mark Potok, a researcher for the law center, insisted the church was not on the map because of its religious doctrines. The center’s intelligence report on the church from 2006 mentions an early leader’s penchant for conspiracies, reports about speakers who have given lectures on Jewish and Masonic plots for world domination or members who share that view.

...Puskorius said the bookstore might have stocked some books like the law center describes at various times, or had some speakers who talk about those conspiracies at Mount St. Michael at some point. “Those are opinions that people have. People have made the case for them,” he said, but the church doesn’t push conspiracies.

The congregation is not anti-Semitic, Puskorius said. It invited a Jewish photographer to its annual conference to discuss the Shroud of Turin, the cloth that some believe wrapped the body of Jesus after the crucifixion, he said. “We do pray for the conversion of the Jews,” Puskorius said, because they believe that’s what the Bible teaches. “We pray for the conversion of all non-Catholics.”

...Like most Traditional Catholic groups, they reject Nostra Aetate, a letter from Pope Paul VI which denounces anti-Semitism, Mother Kathryn said. But that’s because they reject everything any pope has done for the last 50 years, she added, not because of the message. “To suggest that they are anti-Semitic is just not fair,” said Mother Kathryn, now the head of the Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Church, a Roman Catholic order in the Spokane Diocese.

While  media know-nothings describe him as a strict conservative, Pope Benedict walked in the revolutionary path of his predecessor, Pope John Paul II, in making obeisance to the Talmudic religion. He prayed in the Talmudic manner at the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Benedict met cordially with Israeli chief rabbis after they had endorsed a book calling for the extermination of the goyim, including infants. He visited the Israeli Yad Vashem "Holocaust" museum, and Auschwitz, where he did penance for Christendom. 

He made numerous visits to synagogues for services, but unlike the apostles of old, he spoke disgusting words of accommodation to the contemporary Pharisees assembled, reassuring them by his non-evangelism, that he would uphold the Second Vatican Council’s 1965 betrayal concerning Judaics and Talmudism, which has led to the sell-out of Jesus Christ's mission to convert Jews away from their oral traditions of Babylon, to a return to the Biblical faith which the Messiah of Israel had renewed. 

Pope Benedict further propelled Nostra Aetate ("In Our Time"), that masterpiece of Vatican Council II situation ethics which was expanded upon by the post-conciliar popes, and served as an affirmation that the post-Renaissance Church of Rome would not actively concern itself with the conversion of so-called"Jews" today. Every pope who assents to this Judas-doctrine becomes a crypto-rabbi; an arm of the Sanhedrin itself.

In 2007 Pope Benedict broadened permission for Catholics to celebrate the old Latin Tridientine Mass, which contains the pre-Vatican II prayer for Good Friday titled “For the conversion of the Jews.” It reads: “Let us pray also for the Jews: that almighty God may remove the veil from their hearts;  so that they too may acknowledge Jesus Christ our Lord. Let us pray.  Almighty and eternal God, who doest not exclude from thy mercy even the Jews: hear our prayers, which we offer for the blindness of that people;  that acknowledging the light of thy Truth, which is Christ, they may be delivered from their darkness."

This prayer is very different from the Talmudic prayer now used in most Catholic churches -- the wimpy Good Friday text of the New Mass of Pope Paul VI: "Let us pray for the Jewish people, the first to hear the Word of God, that they may continue to grow in the love of his name and in faithfulness to his covenant. Almighty and eternal God, long ago you gave your promise to Abraham and his posterity. Listen to your church as we pray that the people you first made your own may arrive at the fullness of redemption." 

Talmudists worldwide shrieked in outrage over the revival of the Tridentine Mass with its traditional prayer for an end to the "blindness and darkness" of those Judaics who reject Jesus Christ. In response to their lobbying and pressure, relying on situation ethics, Pope Benedict softened the language of the prayer. His revised prayer reads, "Let us pray also for the Jews. May our God and Lord enlighten their hearts, so that they may acknowledge Jesus Christ savior of all men." (St. Edmund Campion Missal and Hymnal for the Traditional Mass [2012], p. 208).

With the kind of doubletalk which has been a papal hallmark since situation ethics first led to the papal permission for the mortal sin of usury being first granted in 1515, Benedict dispatched Cardinal Walter Kasper to explain to the furious Talmudists that the pope's revised Good Friday prayer refers only to the time of Jesus’ second coming, and not now! This underhanded diplomacy mollified the 21st century Pharisees, who don't always fully comprehend that a crypto-rabbi on the papal throne needs to keep up appearances in order to preserve his credibility with the Catholics over whom he rules.

The Forthcoming Conclave

In the next few weeks there will be a conclave to elect a new pope. This conclave is scheduled to be presided over by Cardinal Angelo Sodano. According to journalist Jason Berry, author of Render Unto Rome: The Secret Life of Money in the Catholic Church (2011):

“Sodano...(is) the man who, more than any other, embodies the misuse of power that has corrupted the church hierarchy. Cardinal Sodano is hardly alone: a long list of leaders betrayed Catholics everywhere with their pathological evasions, sending known sex offenders into treatment centers to avoid the law, then planting them in parishes or hospitals where they found new victims. But Cardinal Sodano ranks with the Los Angeles Cardinal Roger Mahony as an egregious practitioner of the cover up. As John Paul II’s secretary of state, he pressured Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger...to abort a case filed in 1998 by several men accusing the Rev. Marcial Maciel Degollado, founder of the Legionaries of Christ, of abusing them as seminarians. Cardinal Sodano was a longtime beneficiary of money and favors from Father Maciel. Priests who left the order told me he received at least $15,000 in cash. Cardinal Ratzinger tabled the case until 2004 but, with John Paul dying, finally ordered an investigation. In 2005, Cardinal Ratzinger became Pope Benedict. Cardinal Sodano’s office then announced the Maciel proceeding was over, while people kept testifying. Benedict dismissed Father Maciel from ministry in 2006; Maciel died in 2008. Still, Cardinal Sodano lavished praise on the Legion, despite the news that Father Maciel had several children. In 2005, Cardinal Sodano was elected dean of the College of Cardinals, which will select the next pope. At 85 years old, he is too old to vote, though he will oversee the conclave, and surely have his candidate.”

The notorious child molestation-facilitator, Roger Mahony, who stated that Bishop Richard Williamson would be expelled if he attempted to enter Cardinal Mahony's cathedral in Los Angeles (as if Williamson would want to enter that hideous synagogue masquerading as a church), will also be one of the cardinals who chooses the next pope.

Sodano, Mahony and a rogues' gallery of molestation facilitators and usurers will choose the next pope of post-Renaissance Rome in the "conclave." According to a conversation this writer had in Rochester, New York with the Judaic-Irish double-agent Malachi Martin (a former peritus to Cardinal Augustin Bea and Paul VI), in the 1978 conclave to elect Pope John Paul I (who was likely assassinated), Cardinal Giovanni Benelli of Florence employed blackmail to exclude any votes for Cardinal Eduardo Piornio of Argentina, who was said to be the papal candidate favored by the Cryptocracy. Malachi Martin claimed that during the conclave, Benelli put dossiers on the desks of some of the cardinals who favored Pironio. Martin alleged that those dossiers contained files and photographs of the cardinals' girlfriends, boyfriends and masonic membership papers. If Martin’s allegation is true, this would explain how a thorn in the side of the Cryptocracy, Cardinal Albino Luciani, was elected on the fourth ballot, becoming Pope John Paul I, who reigned for only 33 days.

Will there also be such ruthless tactics at this 2013 Lenten conclave, similar to the ones that Martin alleged were at work at the conclave in August of 1978?

What’s the real reason behind Pope Benedict XVI's sudden abdication of his throne? 

Don't be hoodwinked -- his abdication does seem to have been sudden. As George Weigel, in a Feb. 11 interview with ABC News, stated, "I find the timing of this somewhat surprising since the pope is leading the church right now through what he calls a year of faith, a special year devoted to the theological virtue of faith, the proclamation of Christian faith throughout the world..."

Benedict abdicated on Shrove Monday, in the midst of the old, three day Catholic season of Shrovetide that began Sunday and culminates today on Shrove or Fat ("mardi gras") Tuesday, the last day before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the austere season of Lent. Shrovetide is especially prominent in traditional English, German and Russian culture. Shrovetide (in German "Fastnachtspiele"; in Russian "Maslenitsa"), is a time marked by the "mistaken identities" of carnival (from the Latin carne vale, "farewell flesh"),  as well as for being shriven, ie. confessing one's sins and receiving forgiveness. The carnivalesque revels predominate however, and Shrovetide was a period associated with license, in which Lügenmärchen (tall tales) turned society upside-down. Was his Shrove Monday abdication the tragic aftermath of an event in which God had reached into the pope's heart and converted him, at least temporarily? Was Benedict about to make a radical move against his Zionist masters, or reveal a secret devastating to the Cryptocracy? Did the Cryptocracy then tempt him by "making him an offer he couldn't refuse" -- his silence in exchange for a guarantee of a life lived in peaceful seclusion, instead of a poisoning made to look like heart failure or some other seemingly natural geriatric fatality?

I don't have the answers to these questions; nevertheless, it is important to ask them, rather than being satisfied with the predigested explanations of the Establishment's spin doctors. It seems that a mystery is afoot. It behooves us to be wary, and refuse to accept pat answers that are not really answers at all. At the same time, we should be cautious in the face of wild speculation and reckless rumor-mongering. Prudent skepticism and vigilance are the watchwords, toward both the official tale as well as unscrupulous persons who may seek to exploit the ambiguities for their own self-serving motives. Muddying the waters with a hundred different wild theories is an old stratagem of the invisible empire.

The “Prophecy” of Malachy “the seer”

Speculation is already at fever-pitch as various hucksters invoke the name of the Irish Saint Malachy, the 12th century bishop of Armagh who, it is alleged, predicted that the next Pope after Benedict will be the last one, who will be named (or nicknamed) "Peter the Roman, who will nourish the sheep in many tribulations; when they are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people."

As the story goes, the medieval Malachy experienced a strange vision about the future that included the name of every pope, 112 in all from his time forward, who would rule until the end of time. Pope Benedict is the pope supposedly named “Gloria Olivae,” (“Glory of the Olive),” in St. Malachy’s ancient prophecy, and there will be only one more pope after Benedict, “Peter the Roman,” during whose reign comes the end of the world: "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End."

There are a couple of rather daunting problems with this “prophecy” attributed to a saintly Irish bishop who may never have uttered them. First and foremost: the Bible says that no man knows the time when the end of all things will come: “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” (Matthew 24:36). An Irish bishop, no matter how saintly, cannot contradict the Word of God when it comes to foreknowledge of the end of the world.

Second, every textual analyst worth his or her salt probes the provenance of a document to assess its authenticity. In this case, the origin is dubious. It is said that, “St. Malachy gave an account of his visions to Pope Innocent II, but the document remained unknown in the Roman Archives until its discovery in 1590.” This writer has trouble taking the word of the sixteenth century Renaissance Church of Rome in this matter. Hence, from both the point of view of the Word of God, and from the text’s own shadowy provenance, it seems that the putative “St. Malachy prophecy” is a counterfeit intended to manipulate credulous persons by raising the psychic tension and expectation surrounding the next pope, leading to much superstitious mania tending to occlude both our God-given powers of reason, and any genuine revelations God may want to transmit to us which may run contrary to expectations concerning an Irish “seer” and The Last Pope of All Time (cue the organ music).

Notice how the double mind is directed, and schizophrenia is induced, on a mass scale. The media pushes two stories simultaneously, one prosaic, the other mystical. The first story frames the news of the papal abdication in simplistic terms, as an open-and-shut case of a humble pontiff wishing to abdicate before his "frailty" leads him to mistakes in policy and governance. If this is true, then Pope Benedict is no kind of a Christian “papa” (father): he has a solemn duty to fulfill the office of the papacy until he really is too physically or mentally debilitated to do so. As it now stands, he seems to have all his wits and faculties about him. He appears to enjoy a good appetite. He is healthy enough to walk and travel, but not to serve as pontiff for another six months or a year? This is what we’re supposed to swallow. Anyone so obstreperous as to refuse to buy it is viewed as little more than a  conspiracy theorist. 

At the same time, the media, however whimsically, is spreading a conspiracy theory of its own, of a supernatural “Catholic prophecy concerning the end of the world.” It appears that End of the World jitters need to be stoked regularly, for some reason. Harold Camping’s prophecy was widely publicized for this purpose in 2011. In 2012 it was the “Mayan prophecy” which had the masses on edge. In 2013 a Catholic saint is being exploited for similar ends.

Let us not be dragged down by delusion. Where there is clarity and truth there we will find His Church and His shepherds. Something is rotten in Rome, and that’s nothing new. It has been that way since at least May 4, 1515, when situation ethics first gained firm purchase inside the papacy.

Pope puts Talmudic agent in charge of SSPX reconciliation

The Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) was founded by French Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in the 1970s as an international priestly fraternity dedicated to preserving the Catholic Church as it existed prior to the Second Vatican Council, including the official teaching on Judaism. Lefebvre was suspended by Pope Paul VI and later excommunicated, along with four of his bishops, by John Paul II. Lefebvre is deceased. Pope Benedict XVI lifted the excommunications of the four bishops but suspended one of them, Richard N. Williamson, until such time as he recants his publicly expressed doubts concerning the new Catholic "Shoah" theology of the the religion-of-Judaism-for-gentiles, i.e. Holocaustianity; Bishop Williamson has refused to recant. The prospect of the SSPX receiving canonical status within the post-Vatican II Church has led to a pressure campaign on the part of influential rabbis and Zionists (and their media toadies), to cause the pope to either cease and desist in the reconciliation, or to somehow neuter the SSPX witness concerning Judaism before the reconciliation occurs. 



Lately, the pope has enlisted a key ally, the SSPX Superior General, Bernard Fellay, in his crusade to end the independence of the SSPX (which some view as schismatic), and integrate them back into the Vatican sheepfold, supposedly with the right to fully engage in their traditional beliefs and practices without interference from the Vatican. For several years the SSPX under Fellay, despite obtuse media generalizations to the contrary, has softened the SSPX stand against Judaism. Rumors flew in the late spring to the effect that the pope and the SSPX under Fellay were about to forge a historic unity agreement. One suspects that the Israeli lobby ("Jewish circles internationally") went into overdrive at the prospect. The proposed unification is now in limbo. As a result, the thoroughly Talmudic, Bronx, NY-born Archbishop Di Noia has been assigned the job of shaping SSPX theology into one that will not too greatly offend the Holy People, so that the SSPX will agree to submit to the pope, and his continuation of Pope John Paul II's revolutionary doctrine on Judaism (and for that matter, on Islam, Voodoo and Hinduism, all of which the late pope radically altered in the name of ecumenism).

...The Archbishop is visibly pleased at the prospect of moving back to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith as Vice Director of the Ecclesiae Dei Commission that handles relations Catholic traditionalist groups, including the controversial Fraternity of the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX). "I am happy to have been shown this level of trust by the Holy Father and to have this opportunity to offer some help in solving these concerns" he says. "My job will be a challenge. I am moved by the flurry of encouraging messages I have received from Vatican, Catholic, and Jewish circles internationally" he says.

What do you see as the major hurdle to overcome in the Church’s dialogue with the SSPX?

Di Noia: Our difficulty with the SSPX is that they isolate passages of Vatican II documents from the context and main message of the Council.  In Jewish terms, the error is similar to trying to interpret a Biblical passage without referring to the centuries of oral and written rabbinical commentaries on its meaning.  The message becomes distorted and problematic.”

(Archbishop Di Noia is making the outrageous assertion that if one doesn't employ the Talmudic and post-Talmudic traditions to analyze Biblical passages, God's Word becomes "distorted and problematic." Jesus Christ and the Church Fathers taught precisely the opposite. -- Hoffman).

The SSPX is reported to have accused Jews of “deicide” and used anti-Semitic stereotypes such as the infamous canard of an international “Jewish conspiracy” on its multilingual sites and in statements by its leaders.  Such concepts are contrary to “Nostra Aetate” and all post-Vatican II Papal positions. The Holocaust-denying Bishop, Richard Williamson, may be the most flagrant example, but apparently he is not alone in espousing retrograde theology and ideology….How will you handle this?

Di Noia: “Regarding Williamson, Pope Benedicts XVIth took decisive actions against him because of his refusal to retract.  He was also disciplined by Bishop Fellay (leader of the SSPX), who dismissed him as Director of their Argentinian Seminary.

 “Anti-Judaism or anti-Semitism form no part of the official position of the SSPX. Clearly, if they manifest themselves in any Catholic Church, anywhere, this must be addressed. They were wrong a  thousand years ago and they are still wrong today.  If I discover such manifestations in the SSPX I will address them as being incompatible with Catholicism. After 3 years of dialogue we still need to understand what the SSPX position is on the Jewish Community and Judaism. 

“The Church’s deep commitment to reconciliation with the Jewish People is personified today by Benedict XVI. The Ecumenical Council wrought a fundamental change. Then John Paul II, above all others, brought home Paul’s message that Judaism and Jews have a unique place in salvation history. Nobody can deny that Karol Wojtyla’s Pontificate marked a major shift in the theological understanding of Judaism within the Catholic Church. Vatican II repudiated anti-Semitism and presented a positive picture of Judaism. John Paul II took us further in recognizing the significance of the Jewish People for Christianity itself. This is a new concept which we know the Traditionalists will not be able to accept immediately. Convincing them will take time, and in this respect we will have to be patient."

Your Excellence, The last sentence in the Note issued by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith announcing your appointment as Vice President of the Pontifical Commission “Ecclesia Dei” states, “…the broad respect that Archbishop Di Noia enjoys in the Jewish community will help in addressing some issues that have arisen in the area of Catholic-Jewish relations as the journey towards the reconciliation of traditionalist communities has progressed.” I believe this denotes both Benedict XVIth’s sensitivity to the importance to both religions of our brotherly dialogue as well as his high consideration for your commitment to this area.  Can you tell us more about your background?

Di Noia: “Well, you know, I was brought up in the Bronx, in a neighborhood with many Jewish people. My older sister Rachel (note the Biblical name!) was actually the person who first inspired me to become familiar with Jewish religious customs, culture,  – and food!  I attended a private Catholic school whereas she went to a public high school and had many Jewish friends to whom she introduced me."

I am sure they appreciate the significance of your nomination.

Di Noia: "I believe so.”
