Communist traitor Morton Sobell is dead

"The only two non-Jews in the communist conspiracy were Chambers and Hiss...Every other one was a Jew and it raised hell with us.”

Statement of President Richard Nixon, as recorded at the White House in 1971 and released by the National Archives in 1999.

The last survivor of the Julius and Ethel Rosenberg spy ring has died.

The death of the traitor Morton Sobell last December was announced on January 30.

Sobell was a Judaic-American Communist who sold military secrets to the Soviets, including our nation's SCR-584 radar system. The Soviets shared the secrets of the SCR-584 with the Communist North Koreans and North Vietnamese, who used it to kill American pilots in Korea and Vietnam.

Sobell was an associate of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, the atomic spies who conveyed America’s nuclear secrets to Stalin.

Sobell was sentenced to 30 years in prison, but his powerful allies in the U.S. government and media lobbied to have his sentence for killing American servicemen reduced. He served only 18 years for treason and murder. After his release he traveled to Communist East Germany, Cuba and Vietnam where he received a hero’s welcome.

Morton Sobell was a darling of the American Left and their mouthpiece media. He never repented of his crimes. He did however, concede his guilt in his last years (cf. “Figure in Rosenberg Case Admits to Soviet Spying,” New York Times, September 12, 2008).

His admission put an end to decades of denials, and claims that he had been “framed” by “McCarthyism” and “anti-Semites.”

“Anti-Semitic Frame-Up”

Similar bogus claims of innocence and an "anti-Semitic frame-up" were put forth for decades on behalf of the Rosenbergs, until the collapse of the Soviet Union, when Russian histories were published implicating them in atomic espionage against the United States: "In memoirs, old Soviet leaders wrote about the role of the spy ring, and aging K.G.B. agents spoke of their contacts with the Rosenbergs. (New York Times, January 30, 2019, p. A21).

In 1995 the Venona papers were released from the Washington archives. These were Soviet embassy transcripts that had been decoded by US intelligence agencies. They contained revelations about the Rosenbergs' spying for Stalin:

"The American intelligence establishment today (July 12, 1995) unveiled one of its oldest secrets: how a small team of code-breakers found the first clues that the Soviet Union sought to steal the blueprints for the atomic bomb in World War II. Using just brain power  no computers, no stolen skeleton keys  the cryptographers slowly cracked what was thought to be an unbreakable code. They painstakingly turned gibberish into powerful evidence of a Soviet spy ring whose ranks included Julius and Ethel Rosenberg.

"...The 49 cables released today...show an intense effort by the Soviets, deeper than depicted by historians, to obtain information on the atomic bomb project. It involved as many as 200 spies, many still unidentified. (New York Times, July 12, 1995, p. 10; emphasis supplied).

In a candid display of the Talmudic mentality, the late Left-wing Judaic historian Howard Zinn said, "To me it didn’t matter whether they (the Rosenbergs) were guilty or not. The most important thing was they did not get a fair trial in the atmosphere of cold war hysteria.” (New York Times, September 20, 2008, emphasis supplied).
