New York Times Says Shiites are Liars

New York Times reports:
In the Shiite Religion "there is a precedent for lying"

"Complicating matters further, some analysts say that Ayatollah Khamenei's denial of Iranian nuclear ambitions has to be seen as part of a Shiite historical concept called taqiyya, or religious dissembling. For centuries an oppressed minority within Islam, Shiites learned to conceal their sectarian identity to survive, and so there is a precedent for lying to protect the Shiite community."

— James Risen, "Seeking Nuclear Insight in Fog of the Ayatollah's Utterances," NY Times, April 14, 2012, p. A4. This was a news report, not an opinion piece or editorial; (emphasis supplied).

Could anyone say anything similar about Talmudic “concepts" of “dissembling” and “precedents for lying,” even if it were truthful, without being denounced as a "shameful anti-semite” and stigmatized as a "hateful extremist”? Why is is that the New York Times can do so with complete impunity?

This writer has documented in the books Judaism Discovered and Judaism's Strange Gods: Revised and Expanded, that the Babylonian Talmud's theology of retailing permissible lies, especially to goyim

Will we see anytime soon in the New York Times a statement to the effect that "there is a precedent for lying to protect the rabbinic community,” or about the theology of lying to the gentiles, as it applies to Israeli deception?

In the eight years since the Times accused the Shiite creed of being a religion for liars, such a publishing landmark has not occurred. Quite the contrary, the sad reality of the documented hatred present in the theology of the Talmud Bavli has, if anything, been buried ever deeper at the New York Times.

“Rabbis are liable to alter their words, and the accuracy of their statements is not to be relied upon.”
The Talmud: The Steinsaltz Edition, [Random House], Vol. II, pp. 48-49

Furthermore, the Babylonian Talmud at Bezah 20a cites a passage that relates that: Hillel (the 'good' Pharisee), lied to prevent a debate within the Temple. This lying by Hillel is presented in a positive light, on behalf of a good cause.

The Mishah, in Nedarim 27b, rules that: “One may falsely vow to robbers and publicans.' Lying to robbers might be understandable, but lying to a whole generic category of 'publicans' establishes a benchmark for 'permissible dissimulation.”

Permission to lie is granted in BT Yevamot 65b: “in the interests of peace,’ a category so broad it is capable of serving as an alibi for countless situations in which scoundrels wish to conjure excuses for their falsehoods.

There is also the permission to lie to a gentile (BT Baba Kamma 113a).

Perhaps most revealing of all is the Kol Nidrei rite of Yom Kippur. Kol Nidrei is a ceremony whereby: 1. All the perjury which Talmudists will commit in the coming year and 2. All the contracts which Talmudists will sign and violate in the coming year, and 3. All the promises which Talmudists will break in the coming year, are absolved, with no heavenly punishment accruing as a result.

The New York Times uses its own brand of Zionist “taqiyya” to masque these explosive and embarrassing facts about its favored creed of Talmudism.

Yet, reflective of their megalomania, they see absolutely nothing bigoted or unethical about hatefully indicting the entire Shiite faith community for allegedly having “a precedent for lying.”

The New York Times can disseminate hate speech to their heart’s content. They are free to do so because they know their reputation as a progressive newspaper with lofty ethics, will remain intact no matter to what extent they debase the religion of Shia Muslims, dehumanize them, and thereby render them targets of the U.S. government, with its proclivity for preemptive invasion and war against the perceived enemies of the Israeli state.

Because there are two standards in America, one for the masses, and the other for the ruling elite, what is an inviolable right for the pompous New York Times, would become a despicable thought crime for the rest of us were we to truthfully report on prevarication and deception in a religion which, unlike Shia Islam, is the legacy media’s highly favored, and protected theology.

The New York Times is incapable of telling the truth when it comes to any issues concerning the Zionists. What a pity. As for Hoffman, he is an 'intellectual' tool.
