The tannaic rabbis stipulate the minimum length of time required for sexual relations. Their disquisition is based on their own personal experience:

...And how long is the duration in the matter of seclusion? Sufficient for misconduct, i.e., sufficient for coition, i.e., sufficient for sexual contact, i.e., sufficient for a person to walk round a date-palm. Such is the view of Rabbi Ishmael.
Rabbi Eliezer says: Sufficient for preparing a cup of wine; Rabbi Joshua says: Sufficient to drink it; Ben Azzai says: Sufficient to roast an egg; Rabbi Akiba says: Sufficient to swallow it; Rabbi Judah b. Bathyra says: Sufficient to swallow three eggs one after the other.

Rabbi Eleazar b. Jeremiah says: Sufficient for a weaver to knot a thread; Rabbi Hanin b. Phineas says: Sufficient for a woman to extend her hand to her mouth to remove a chip of wood [from between the teeth]; Pelemo says: Sufficient for her to extend her hand to a basket and take a loaf therefrom.

How plain to see from these quotes that the Talmud is the complete antithesis of The Holy Bible. Even the Old Testament, while teaching valuable lessons about sin and lust, shows beautiful marriages in the relationships between Abraham and Sarah; Isaac and Rebekah; Jacob and Rachel; and then we find the remarkable, and glorious metaphor of "The Song of Solomon", which prefigures Jesus and the Church, and that according to all classic interpretations of what is truly a vitally important allegorical poem of faith.
The sacred nature of the union between husband and wife was taught by Jesus Christ, Peter, Paul, and John in "Revelation," where the Church is revealed to be The Bride of Christ, adorned for her Husband without spot or wrinkle, prepared to join the Lord Himself at His side for the great Wedding Banquet of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Our culture is permeated, through the media, with Talmudic denigration of women as gross, interchangeable, pseudo-pornography stars. But each union between a man and a woman can only fulfill the intention of our Creator when it is sanctified through understanding and respecting the holy mystery of sex. Every woman is a potential bride, a potential mother, a potential helpmate, while also being what the New Testament describes as "the weaker vessel," no matter how strong she thinks she is.
The lie that men and women can find satisfaction by using each other for "fringe benefits" has degraded us all. Somehow, we must purge our minds and thought life of every remnant of this evil.

All those old writings are suspect, if for no other reason than they portray G-d as a mean person, subject to bet with a man's life, relationships, and the lives of others, for the sake of a neurotic need to be "worshiped" by natives.

Who cares what Jews think? The old testament is filled with primitive horrendous behavior. Zionists still think they're God's chosen elite and that if you're not Jewish you're less than human, not a true human being. The metaphors offered to adherents of these gentlemen suggest little more than what could be expected when discussing the breeding of a horse, a dog, or some other dumb animal. Do these sages not have any higher opinion of human beings, considering that their G-d gave the example of his creation's taking six days? Do people really buy this stuff?
i dont see where this quote from talmud tells anyone not to love his wife; religious law is given like directions to assemble something you bought from a store---it is not dictated with respect to feelings i.e. 'feelings' have little to do with law
that doesnt mean that it is suggesting that feelings are not a part of life
law is law and serves its purpose only if emotions are put aside in it---it should answer every question
there is such law in the bible as well with no respect to feelings i.e. if a woman is raped she has to marry her rapist etc (deuteronomy)

Beauty is of course in the eye of the beholder. Re: beautiful and sacred marriage of Abraham and Sarah. Do you actually READ you bible? Or do you ignore the over that sacred nature, Abraham lied about it to pharao, actually in effect and for real marrying Sarah out to him, without leaving any that Pharao matter of fact consumated that marriage. And since immediately afterwards Abraham realises the inheritance from God, coincidently exactly being the lands owned by Pharao, namely from Euphrates to the Nile. This certainly must have made the whole project worthwhile. And since Sarah gets pregnant after that it is also of no consequence that immediately somehow Abraham must get rid of both ishmael and Lot, his real heirs. What makes the bible interesting is how the cunning way this is done is concealed from the eye of the beholder, but not from that of the good reader....
If I may be allowed, let me now respond with a few more points. First, the Old Testament/The Bible is NOT the basis of modern Jewish belief or practice. Today's leaders of Israeli are schooled in the Talmud, which was written by a schismatic cult of idolators in Babylon during many centuries. In fact, Jewish people are not as familiar with Old Testament stories as you are. They do not read their Bibles. Period.
Of course, if they did, they would see how Jesus Christ, the Messiah whom they crucified, is foreshadowed metaphorically throughout the Old Testament. They would convert to Christianity.
Secondly, it is a mistake to think that every action of every person described in the Old Testament is presented as someone we should emulate, whose behavior is approved by God.
On the contrary, consider the great Jewish Biblical prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos, Obadiah, Micah and the others (the "Minor" Prophets are not qualitatively minor, as they are termed "Minor" only because their writings are shorter in length). The prophets BERATE their own people for godless lives.
The idea that Sarah committed adultery with Abimelech is frankly, I must say, a lie pure and simple. I am asked, "Do you read your Bible?" Obviously, my questioner does not. Genesis 20:4 (KJV) says: "But Abimelech had not come near her..." God told the heathen king in a dream (20:6) :"... for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her."
I really regret that so many people today are not only illiterate but uneducated, and that with so many Bibles in the land, so few people really know the Lord.
You can't please God without faith (paraphrase of Hebrews 11:6a); and you certainly can't read the Bible accurately without faith either.
Coming to Holy Writ with an attitude of rebellion against the Creator, the Lord of Heaven and Earth, veritably ensures exactly what such a reader will get out of his reading. You don't have to be a prophet to see a self-fulfilling prophecy like that one.

These are the same emotionally stunted, self-centered, angry-at-mommy retards who cooked up the legend of Lillith, Adam's "first" wife, who was banished because she wanted to be on top sometimes during sex. They are completely incapable of love, and know nothing of union, only of using, and are terminally terrified of the depth of sexuality in a woman. They are the opposite of Christ, who tells us that a married man should concerned with what makes his wife happy, including in bed, and that a woman should be concerned with what makes her husband happy, including in bed: a true mutuality that these "men" refute and fear right to their depths.
Separate "Ashkenazi" from "Jew" in your mind, and you'll begin to understand that these sphincters are not Jews, and represent neither Moses nor Yahweh in any way. They're the most truly evil people on the face of the earth, worshipping the ancient demons of Babylon (whether those exist or not is a secondary question; these guys seek after the power they believe those demons have, and spew horror in their wake as they travel the earth among us).
