Google Says "Holocaust Revisionism is Hate Speech"

Here below is a copy of a response from Google concerning the censorship of two of my revisionist videos.

The Google corporation defines Holocaust revisionism as "hate speech," and on that basis withdrew the Lipstadt and Provan videos from broadcast (see yesterday's blog entry).

The censored Charles Provan video consisted of an interview with a researcher who believes in the gas chambers and differs with mainstream historians only on certain details. Hence, even belief in the gas chambers, when it is not total belief, in every single detail of the "Holocaust" story, now constitutes "hate speech." If this is not totalitarianism, what is?

This enforcement of intellectual dictatorship comes from Google, the Internet powerhouse that advertises to its young enthusiasts its aspiration to be the world's digital information archive, free of all intellectual walls and barriers.

Recall that Google initially approved these two videos and broadcast them for approximately one month. The videos were removed only due to outside pressure.

Deborah Lipstadt has publicly labeled my "Amalek" video about her, "revolting."

In today's Washington Post, William Bennett and Alan Dershowitz chastise the American media for having failed to publish the cartoons about Muhammad which first appeared in Denmark: "...radical Islamists have won a war of intimidation. They have cowed the major news media from showing these cartoons. The mainstream press has capitulated to the Islamists..."

Radical Judaics are also winning a war of intimidation. They have cowed Google into censoring videos critical of Deborah Lipstadt, and maintaining that gas chambers existed, but that they were operated mainly by Judaics. Are "intimidation" and "capitulation" only wrong when they result from Islamic coercion? What about Judaic intimidation of the media? It must be at a higher level of power and control, because unlike the Islamic version, Judaic intimidation is not publicized or protested in the US media.

Memo to American editors and journalists: if I am wrong, prove it by reporting Google Video's capitulation to the partisans of radical Judaism.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for your email. We received complaints that your content violates our posted policy against hate speech.

Because the videos appear to promote Holocaust Revisionism, in violation of our policy against hate speech, we have removed the videos.

We appreciate your understanding.

Sincerely,

The Google Video Team

If you haven't already done so, I ask you to write a letter or send a fax to the CEO of Google, Inc. to protest the censorship. His address and fax number are at the bottom of yesterday's blog entry, "Google Censors Revisionist Videos."

I am writing to the CEO of Google, Inc. The people I invited to observe your video footage are writing to the CEO of Google, Inc. We comprise a group of five people. May I urge everyone to take the time and write. This is about free speech. At no time did I, or anyone in my presence witness anything even remotely akin to "Hate Speech". Lipstadt and co. must be lovin' this. Creating a mine field which one must navigate just to find an alternate view does nothing to serve our so-called democracy, and everything to support your statement that totalitarianism is being practiced in the United States today. Best of luck in finding an internet venue for your video series. The interest exists, and people have the right to weigh what you decide to produce for viewing. Thank you for offering that short lived free service - I found it impressive. I'm a busy gal, sometimes I have to post so fast I don't have time to correct spelling mistakes, but I post anyway. Sometimes I'm so off the wall that my posts never are seen, thank God for the wisdom of Mr. Hoffman. I hope you continue to post with both barrels Mr. Hoffman, on the issues that matter, and let the Lipstadt's know they cannot keep you in their 'reactive' mode for long. Proactive is your style, keep up the good work. You have this citizen's full support and appreciation.

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but I have a feeling Google|Answers, and a few related sites, are about to begin a very large campaign to supress information and obscure the facts. Simply put, searching on (Jewish|Zionist|Zionism) News in the last 48 hours has provided vastly different results each time. In fact, as of today, almost every result in the Top 5 is either ADL, ADL-owned, or ADL-related.

Then I noticed this odd bit of information:

Answers.com, Company Overview

Employees: 48 (As of December 31, 2005)
Offices: New York City & Jerusalem
Stock Symbol: ANSW
Market: NASDAQ

"Answers Corporation, founded in 1999, (previously GuruNet Corporation) owns and operates Answers.com."

Only 48 emloyees, as of Dec., and they need an office in Jerusalem, as well? Something is wrong with this picture.

Google|Answers has now used the Irving case to justify more wide-spread censorship (your video). Since they are a corporation, and not a public entity, they have every legal right to do so. We need a strong boycott campaign to stop this abuse of their power. The addiction to Google has already become strong in many people, and even devoutly liberal friends are beginning to justify their continued use of Google. Despite being unhappy with the censorship!

I am also writing a letter to Google. However, I know from past experience that it's going to take a lot more than letters. We need a wide-spread Google|Answers boycott. Furthermore, I suggest everyone write to their Senators and Representatives in Congress to request that a publicly funded Internet search engine be created! It may take some time, but at least we shall have a Federally protected resource of information.

I have also lost my trust in Google. With clusty.com I get better search results, and it doesn't want to track me like Google does with it's cookie that expires only after 30+ years. For more reasons not to use Google go to http://www.google-watch.org/

I'm proud to say that I was the one who wrote a number of letters to Google video asking them to review these videos. It wasn't very hard for them to realize that these videos were not fit for human consumption.
